Article marketing is a very popular and free resource for promoting any type of product or service. Most people believe they have to be a writer so they shy away from even trying. Trust me when I tell you that even beginners can write an article that sells. I am going to share with you how to write an article that sells.
Title:
The first place we will begin is with the title. You want your main keywords in your title. Here is what I mean by this. What type of keywords/phrases are people typing into the search engines in order to locate the information they are searching for? You want those same keywords or phrases to be in your title (preferably twice like I have in this one).
First Paragraph:
In the first paragraph you want to tell the readers what your article is about. You also want the keywords in your title to also be in your first paragraph.
Body of Article:
Your article should only be about the benefits your product or service provides. Never outwardly sell in your article. If your product teaches people have to have success in affiliate marketing then briefly share with them what they will learn. Point out what the course has to offer and how they will benefit from this particular course.
Last Paragraph:
In the last paragraph you want to sum up what you just wrote about. You also want to include once again your keywords or phrases you used in your title.
Length of Article:
You do not want your article to be too lengthy because you may lose your prospects attention. Try to keep it short and to the point. Your article can be anywhere from 300 to 500 words. Do not worry about this though. Just start writing and you will have a full article in no time at all.
Resource Box:
Your resource box needs to grab your prospects attention. By sharing the benefits your product or service offers in your article you can now sell your product in the resource box. Certain sites do not allow affiliate links so you will need to purchase a domain name and forward it to your link. You can put two links in your resource box and this is what you need to remember.
People may find your article and want to put it on their site. Others are allowed to do this as long as they include the information in your resource box. If you only have anchor text to your site and it is copied over to someone else’s site, your link may not show up as active. That is why it is important that you put your link address in your resource box as well.
I do hope these tips on how to write an article that sells has been helpful. Remember, even beginners can write an article that sells. Just follow these rules I have outlined above and you will be on your way.
